The U.S. Christian Commission begins a training program for volunteers, students and those who want to learn more about the U.S. Christian Commission history and its modern day organization and efforts. First classes are scheduled to begin March 3, 2008 at Bethel Assembly of God , Littlestown Pennsylvania and run for six consecutive Sundays. The final Sunday will culminate with participation in the first USCC Chapel services in Gettysburg for the 2008 season.
Civil War historian Bryan Crawmer will lead the class. Handouts will be provided.
