The USCC Coffee Wagon was built and invented in Philadelphia in 1863. It deployed into the battlefields with the soldiers and could product up to 108 gallons of Coffee, Tea, Chocolate or Beef Tea an hour!
After five years of original research including three years to find the original patent drawings the project was undertaken by the USCC, and a supporter of this organization. With a lot of hard work and the help of Amish carriage makers, the Wagon rolled out for its debut at the Gettysburg 145th Anniversary Event this year! It was a great day to see this back in action!
Look for special events and living history programs where this "SPECTACULAR PIECE OF CIVIL WAR HISTORY" is brought back to life! Coffee never tasted better!
