The U.S. Christian Commission team traveled to Baltimore, Maryland where the Coffee Wagon was once again back in action serving "those that serve" at the Coast Guard Yard! The Coast Guard and civilian contractors that work to repair and restore the Coast Guard Fleet hosted the USCC!
During the morning Coffee Break we served over 24 dozen doughnuts around the Coffee Wagon on the waterfront. This was a great time to share with so many dedicated and hard working men and women that serve behind the scenes.
An All Hands BBQ lunch was the location for the entire U.S. Christian Commission Team to interact with the rest of the base. The Wega family and Gray family were proivileged to talk to so many.
The Coffee Wagon was big hit and special thanks goes to the Chaplain of the base for the help in hosting the USCC!
Own own John Wega is a USCG veteran that sailed the USCGC Eagle during summer training at the USCG Academy. It was a special day for all involved!
