The 2009 "God and Country" Program featured the California Baptist Singing Group "Light" for two evening of patriotic hymns and worship music. Sunday night was a bluegrass gospel concert with the local group "Walt Crider and the Old Time Way".
Both nights featured the "Getttysburg Address" by the USCC Executive Director, John Wega as Abraham Lincoln and other patriotic speeches. This year a descendant of William Bradford, Charty Gray read the Mayflower Compact.
We are thankful for many local churches and volunteers to help make the second annual event a success. Plans are already in the works for a 2010 program!
